Educational institutions are scheduled to open on Thursday as the three-day vacation ends. However, the government has extended the holidays for educational institutions by another three days. Schools will resume from Monday.

Heavy rains continue in the state. It is raining like an Aquarius in North Telangana. The Meteorological Department recently announced that Telangana will receive heavy rains for the next two days. Red alert has been issued for 11 districts.

Asifabad, Nirmal, Mahbub Bad, Manchiryala, Peddapalli, Mulugu, Bhupalapalli, Warangal, Hanmakonda and Janagama districts have been given red alert. It has been revealed that heavy rains will occur in many areas along with very heavy rains in these districts.

Floods are visible everywhere in Telangana with the rains that have been pouring for seven days. Streams and bends are overflowing. As the reservoirs are full, the gates are lifted and the water is released downstream.

Low-lying areas were inundated with floods. Transportation has stopped in many areas. Flood disaster is worse in North Telangana districts. It is still raining. It will rain heavily for the next two days.

The officials of the education department felt that it was not proper to run the educational institutions. The government has postponed the MSET Agriculture exams scheduled to be held on Thursday and Friday due to rain warning by IMD.
