Actress Priyanka Chopra and her husband singer Nick Jonas both became parents to a beautiful baby in January this year. They announced on Instagram that their first child came to this earth through a surrogate mother. After that, the Priyanka Jonas couple did not share any information about the baby and did not even know if the baby was male or female.
According to media reports, Priyanka Jonas’ baby is a girl and her name has been revealed.
DMS media reports that the baby of Priyanka and Nick has been named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. The newspaper said the information came from the baby’s birth certificate. The baby was reportedly born at 8pm on January 15 in San Diego, California.
The Priyanka Nick couple announced six days after their baby was born, on January 21st, through an Instagram post, “Our baby has come to earth through surrogacy. We are so happy to announce this. We look forward to privacy at this happy time. Thank you very much.”
The name Malti Marie Chopra Jonas given to Priyanka’s baby is a testament to the tradition of Priyanka and Nick. Malti is a Sanskrit word. This means a small fragrant flower or moonlight. Marie came from the Latin Stella Morris. This means the star of the ocean. It also has biblical meaning because it is the French version of the name Marie, the mother of Jesus.
Recently, in a conversation with YouTuber Lilly Singh, Priyanka shared her experience of becoming a mother. “As a new mother, I think I should never impose my desires, fears, and my upbringing on my child. Since this is my child, I have no intention of having to decide everything myself. ”
