Three main accused in Punjab police custody of Sidhu Moose Wala Murder

Police suspect that these accused had provided vehicles and weapons to the perpetrators of the crime.

Punjab Police has arrested one of the six accused arrested in connection with the murder of famous singer-rapper Sidhu Moose Wala. He has been sent from the court to police remand for five days.

Similarly, the police have detained two other accused from two jails of Punjab on production warrant. Police suspect that these accused had provided vehicles and weapons to the perpetrators of the crime. The accused arrested from Uttarakhand had provided vehicles

According to the Punjab Police , the accused named Manpreet alias Bhau was detained in the case during the Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand on Monday and arrested him on Tuesday. The court has sent him on remand for five days.

Police said Manpreet had allegedly provided Bolero and Corolla cars to the attackers.

Manpreet is a drug smuggler and has nine criminal cases registered against him in Faridkot, Muktsar and other districts.

Manpreet has been arrested in these cases

Police said Manpreet has been arrested in the past for illegal arms smuggling, attempt to murder, rioting and planning a crime. Police is now interrogating him and trying to find out the accused involved in the murder.

These accused are also being interrogated

Police said that Manpreet Singh, lodged in Bathinda jail and Sharad, lodged in Ferozepur jail, have also been taken into custody for five days on production warrant for interrogation, police said. Both these accused are sharp shooters and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi are said to be active members of the gang.

Police said both the accused are suspected to have arranged for the assailants for the vehicles used in the murder of Moose Wala at the behest of Bhau.

The plot of murder was hatched from different jails of Tihar and Punjab

According to police sources, the conspiracy to kill Moosewala was hatched inside Tihar Jail in Delhi and different jails in Punjab.

Jailed Manpreet Singh and Sharad were constantly in touch with gangster Goldie Brar sitting in Canada through virtual numbers . In such a situation, this conspiracy was hatched at his behest.

According to the police, a total of six sharp shooters were involved in the murder of Moose Wala and they had four different types of weapons.

Moose Wala was murdered on Sunday

Let us inform that Moosewala was going to Jawaharke village with his friends Gurvinder and Gurpreet in a Mahindra jeep on Sunday evening.

At the same time, eight assailants in another car from behind started firing on his jeep. Moose Wala and his friends were injured in this. Moosawala was later declared dead.

After this incident, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of the state is being criticized for reducing the security of Moosewala.

Moose Wala was cremated in his native village

Here, on Tuesday, the last rites of Moosewala, a native village located in Mansa district of Punjab, were performed. During that time a large number of his supporters were present and they raised slogans against the state government of AAP.

Moose Wala body was brought home from the hospital in the morning for the last glimpse. In view of the tension, heavy police force was deployed at the spot.

Let us inform that in the post-mortem, 25 bullets have been confirmed in Moose Wala body.

Punjab government constitutes SIT to investigate the matter

The government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) with Moose Wala father Balkaur Singh demanding a CBI or NIA probe into the matter from Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Mansa superintendent of police Dharamvir Singh, Bathinda deputy superintendent Vishwajit Singh and CIA in-charge Prithvipal Singh have been included in this.

Here, the Punjab and Haryana High Court, while issuing a notice to the government, has also sought a detailed report on reducing the security of VIPs.
