The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India has taken action against telecom companies. TRAI has issued a new order for telecommunications companies.
In it, it is stated that companies should come up with a plan that is valid for the whole month. Telecommunication companies have been given 60 days to do so.
Telecommunications companies are required to have at least one plan, a special tariff voucher and a special recharge plan valid for one month, TRAI said.
Companies have been given 60 days to implement this. A 1-month plan is required from June 1, 2022.
Most telecom companies offer only 28 days validity to customers in the name of one month recharge. Although Geo is launching the plan, other telecom companies such as Vodafone-Idea and Airtel are expected to announce new plans within 60 days.
TRAI continued to receive complaints from customers. According to customers, companies reduce the validity of the plan / fee and buy 28 days instead of one month.
This was followed a few days ago by TRAI, which said it had received complaints from consumers about plans offering a 28-day validity offered by telecommunications service providers.
TRAI has stated that with this amendment, telecom subscribers will have additional options to choose the service offers that are valid and valid.
