Earlier ‘Jersey’ was also caught in legal trouble
The film was also embroiled in a legal dispute . Actually, a writer Rajneesh Jaiswal had alleged that the makers of ‘Jersey’ plagiarized his script.
He had filed a complaint against the makers. Due to this the release of the film was postponed. Earlier it was supposed to release on April 14, but later it was postponed.
However, the Bombay High Court ruled in favor of the makers of Jersey and now the film has been released.

The film is directed by Gowtham Tinnuri and he has written the story. Dil Raju is the producer of the film.
