In one survey, the people of Scotland are considered the best lovers in the world. 2,000 people in Britain who took part in the survey admitted that Scottish people are the world’s best lovers among romantic holiday goers. According to the study, the people of Scotland have left behind the British, Welsh and Irish to French, Italian and American people in this matter.
Participants in this quiz were asked to rate their holiday flings on a scale of 1 to 10, with some countries scoring between 7 and 10 to finish in the top-10. Scotland topped the list with 43 percentage points. While Wales got the last position with 30 percent marks.
The names of these countries in the top-10 are followed by Scotland in second place in the list, Italy (41%), third place France (38%), fourth place England (37%), fifth place Spain (35%), sixth place America (34%), seventh place Portugal (32%), eighth place Ireland (31%), ninth place Sweden (31%) and 10th place Wales (30%).
Derek Simpson, 41, a resident of Edinburgh, says, ‘The figures of this survey by a company called Loveit Coverit do not surprise him at all. Scottish people are adept at the art of attracting their partners and leaving a good impression. A spokesperson for the company that conducted the survey said that holiday flings were a part of a trip with culture and food.
