Bihar Lathi charge on STET candidates, BJP calls Nitish-Tejashwi government ‘blind’, orders for investigation

BJP Bihar tweeted the video and wrote, What is this government blind, which sticks on the tricolor. Is this government deaf, made the one who fired the cartridge the leader of the pen

Bihar: The Bihar unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party shared a video on Monday. Through this video, the party has targeted the Nitish Kumar-Tejashwi Yadav government. The video was shot during a protest. In this, a young man is shown lathi-charging the police. It is being told that the strike was called against unemployment.

BJP Bihar tweeted the video and wrote,”This government is blind, who uses sticks on the tricolor. Is this government deaf, has made the one who fired the cartridges the leader of the pen. He has the disease of sitting on the chair, hold him and make him sit.”, walks on crutches, is lame. For one there is hobby, for one there is fun and for the public there is compulsion.

After a lot of sharing on social media, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav said that there is an appeal to the students (STET) to be patient. We are working. We have been fighting for jobs and jobs.

According to news agency ANI, he said,”There is an appeal to the students (STET) to be patient. We are working. We have fought only for employment and jobs. We have announced on August 15 that 10 lakh jobs will be given.” And apart from that also the means of employment will be available and 20 lakhs will get employment.

Tejashwi Yadav further said,”Lathi-charge was done to control the students who took out a protest march in Patna, in which ADM was beating up an STET candidate. An inquiry committee was formed. If found guilty, strict action was taken against them. Will go.” Nitish Kumar took an unexpected step earlier this month to form the government again with Lalu Yadav’s RJD. He revived the grand alliance he left in 2017.

There is also speculation that Nitish Kumar may emerge as the opposition’s choice for the prime ministerial race in 2024. While Nitish has said that he is not considering any such possibility yet. Tejashwi said in an interview to news agency PTI on Sunday that if considered, he could be a strong candidate.
