Ishaan Kishan

How did the most expensive player of the season perform?

Mumbai Indians made Ishan Kishan the costliest player of the season by buying him for Rs 15.25 crore. Overall, he became the second most expensive Indian sold in the league.

Kishan started the season brilliantly with two consecutive half-centuries, but his form declined later. He scored 418 runs in 14 matches this season including three half-centuries.

Shreyas Iyer

Iyer’s performance getting Rs 12.25 crore

Shreyas Iyer was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 12.25 crore and then made his captain as well. Under his captaincy, Kolkata finished seventh, losing eight out of 14 matches.

Talking about Iyer’s performance, he scored 401 runs in 14 matches at an average of 30.85 which included three half-centuries. He was the batsman with the most runs and most fifties for his team.

Liam Livingstone

Livingstone did a paisa vasool performance

Liam Livingstone became the third highest selling English player in the history of IPL. He was included in this auction by Punjab Kings (PBKS) by giving a huge amount of Rs 11.50 crore.

He scored 437 runs in 14 matches with the help of four half-centuries and during this his strike-rate was 182. Apart from this, he also took six wickets in the bowling of 23 overs.

Rs 10.75 crore

Performances of four players who got Rs 10.75 crore

Harshal Patel, Vanindu Hasranga, Nicholas Pooran and Shardul Thakur were bought for Rs 10.75 crore. Hasaranga was the best performer among them, taking 26 wickets, becoming the second highest wicket taker of the season.

Harshal took 19 and Shardul took 15 wickets. Talking about Shardul, he was also very expensive. Pooran scored 306 runs in 13 innings with a strike-rate of 144.33 which included two half-centuries.
