Gandhinagar: Both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Gujarat. PM Modi is likely to attend the IPL final at the Narendra Modi Stadium along with the inauguration of the hospital at Atkot in Rajkot.
As Prime Minister Modi is also likely to visit the stadium to watch the match, special preparations have been made for the IPL matches starting from parking to traffic arrangements.
PM Modi is on a one-day visit to Gujarat on May 28. They will reach Rajkot at 9.30 am. In which he will inaugurate the newly built hospital in Atkot and address a huge public meeting. This will be the second PM’s program in Saurashtra.
Besides, for the first time in Gandhinagar, the PM will address a co-operative convention in Gujarat. In which all the leaders of the co-operative sector will be present. However, in the meantime, he is likely to attend an IPL match.
PM’s May 28 schedule
Will reach Rajkot at 9.30 am. In which he will inaugurate the newly built hospital in Atkot and address a huge public meeting
- Arrive at Ahmedabad Airport at 12.30 pm
- Will stay in Raj Bhavan till 4 pm
- At 4.30 pm, Mahatma will address a co-operative convention at the temple
- After the co-operation, PM Modi will leave Ahmedabad for Delhi
While PM Modi is on a tour of Gujarat, two IPL matches will be played in Ahmedabad. The qualifier-2 will be played on Friday and the final on Sunday. The Prime Minister is likely to be present at the Narendra Modi Stadium then. Following which, the state police department has come on alert.
Holidays of all police personnel in the district have been canceled. An iron security system has been set up at the Narendra Modi Stadium. A team of 47 SP, 84 DYSP, 03 QRT, 28 SRPF, 28 Bomb Squad, 222 Inspectors, 686 PSI, 3,346 Constables, 824 Women Police will be on standby at Narendra Modi Stadium.
The team has arrived in Ahmedabad to play IPL matches at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium. Players of Gujarat Titans team have arrived in Ahmedabad. Many Bollywood stars and political leaders are also likely to watch the final match in Ahmedabad. Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya arrived in Ahmedabad with his wife and son.

On the other hand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also on a 3-day visit to Gujarat. Amit Shah will arrive in Ahmedabad on the night of May 27. On May 28, they will pay a visit to Dwarkadhish in Dwarka. He will also attend the Police Coastal Academy in Dwarka.
He will attend the Panchamrut Dairy program in Godhra on May 29 in the morning and the Home Department program in Nadiad in the afternoon. He will also pay homage to the Naranpura Sports Complex in Ahmedabad. Also, Amit Shah will watch the final match of IPL at Narendra Modi Stadium.
