Agni Natchathiram starts 4 to 28 May warns of hot winds

As the summer sun intensifies in Tamil Nadu, the Agni Natchathiram season begins today. It will last till the coming 28th. Thermal winds have been warned until the 24th.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will rise to 5 degrees Celsius today.

In Tamil Nadu, the sun burned above 100 degrees in 13 places yesterday. Veil is expected to rise further as the Agni star is about to launch.

Due to this the public should avoid coming outside during the day except for essential reasons. Doctors have advised that it is better to drink natural drinks including young water and buttermilk to alleviate the heat.

In this situation, heavy rain fell in Coimbatore, Sulur, Ukkadam, Athuppalam, Kuniyamuthur, Ramanathapuram and Madukkarai areas yesterday.

The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate showers in a few places in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Karaikal today due to heat wave.
