Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) startup company Bounce Infinity is today launching its electric scooter E1 on Flipkart, one of the country’s largest online shopping portals. This initiative has been taken to make vehicle purchase easy for the customers. This is a unique initiative to sell electric scooters through an online e-commerce platform in India. With its success, Bounce can also introduce its other vehicles on Flipkart in the times to come.
Where is this facility available?
As part of this partnership with Flipkart , Bounce Infinity is promising to deliver this electric scooter at the doorsteps of customers within 15 days of booking. The company is introducing this facility in five cities in the initial stages. This will benefit customers from states like Delhi, Gujarat, Telangana and Maharashtra. Customers will also be able to take advantage of the EV subsidy available in their state under this initiative.
All formalities will be completed sitting at home
Once the booking is done on Flipkart, the authorized dealers of Bounce Infinity will contact the customers to complete all the formalities including RTO registration and insurance along with all other paperwork.
The scooter will be delivered within 15 days of booking. Apart from this, customers can also opt to pick up the vehicle from their nearest Bounce Infinity dealership. Customers will also get real-time tracking updates on EV orders from Flipkart like other items.
This scooter is available in two options
The Bounce Infinity E1 scooter is offered with two battery options. One has a swappable battery, which you can charge at home or anywhere. In the second option, you can buy a scooter without a battery. For those opting for this option, the company battery is provided on rent. According to the company, it reduces running costs by up to 40 percent as compared to conventional petrol scooters.
What is the capacity and price of this scooter?
Features like Power Mode, Reverse Mode, Cruise Control and Drag Mode are available in Bounce Infinity E1. It has 12-inch tubeless tires and disc brakes. The company claims that its IP67 rated 48V and 2 KWh battery can give a range of up to 85 km on a single charge. The ex-showroom price of this electric scooter is Rs 70,499, and its battery-less option costs just Rs 45,099 ex-showroom.
