Chennai Arumbakkam robbery case, 3.5 kg gold has been seized from house of Acharappakkam police inspector

In a sudden twist in the Chennai Arumbakkam robbery case, 3.5 kg gold has been seized from the house of the Acharappakkam police inspector.

Chennai: The Federal Bank branch in Arumbakkam, Chennai, was robbed of 32 kg of jewelery in broad daylight after giving cold drinks to the guard and tying up the employees. Arumbakkam police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

In this, it was revealed that Murugan, who worked as a regional manager in another branch of the same bank, was involved in the robbery along with his accomplices. In connection with this incident, on the order of Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal, Annanagar Deputy Commissioner Vijayakumar’s special force police arrested 3 persons namely Santhosh, Balaji, Sakthivel and Surya who were involved in the robbery along with Murugan. A serious investigation is going on against the owner of a jewelry store in Coimbatore in connection with the bank robbery.

Murugan, the main culprit of this robbery, surrendered at the Koratur police station near Chennai yesterday. The police have arrested him and are investigating.

In the bank robbery, 18 kg of 32 kg of gold jewelery was recovered, and now the remaining 14 kg of gold jewelery has also been recovered. The police clarified that all the gold jewelery stolen from the robbers has been recovered.

In this case, it was reported by the police that 4 kg of magic was stolen in the Arumbakkam bank robbery.
