Tamilnadu is receiving rains due to atmospheric circulation prevailing over various parts. For the past two days, rain has lashed various districts in Tamil Nadu.
Mainly in Madurai it has been raining heavily for the last 2 days. As a result, roads were flooded at many places in Madurai.
It is also noteworthy that the Madurai bus stand was completely waterlogged. Many southern districts received sporadic rain since last Saturday.
Chennai Meteorological Department has informed that very heavy rain will occur in 3 districts of Tamil Nadu in this situation. Red alert for extremely heavy rain has been issued for 3 districts. Kanyakumari, Nellai, Tenkasi will experience very heavy rain. People in these 3 districts should be careful, says Meteorological Department.
It is noteworthy that it has already been raining in Kanyakumari for the last 2 days. Similarly, the districts like Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Coimbatore, Dindigul Madurai, Virudhunagar, etc. are likely to receive very heavy rains. It will rain heavily here and there. Heavy rain is likely after evening.
Thoothukudi, Namakkal, Salem, Erode, Sivagangai, Trichy, Karur, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Tirupattur, Vellore are likely to receive light to moderate rain. In total Tamil Nadu will receive rain for the next 5 days. Favorable conditions for rain are prevailing in areas including Kumarikadal, Gulf of Mannar, Tamil Nadu sea areas. Strong winds will blow in the sea areas here.
Due to this, fishermen have been advised not to go to the sea. As for Chennai, the sky will be cloudy. There is a chance of light rain in Chennai after evening. Chennai Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Karaikal and Puducherry for the next 5 days.
