Is Lingusamy Director Arrested 6 months imprisonment further he appeals

It is my duty to give a self-explanation to a news about me which is being sensationalized in many media.

Chennai: In 2014, director Lingusamy took a loan of Rs 1 crore 3 lakh from PVP Finance, the company that produced the films Irandam Ulagam, to Tirupati Brothers for the production of the film “Enni Ezhu Naal” starring actor Karthi and actress Samantha.

Since Lingusamy’s check for 35 lakh rupees was returned without money in his bank account, a case of check fraud was filed by PVP company in Saidapet court. The case came up for hearing today in Saidapet 3rd Fast Track Court. At that time, Judge Santhosh sentenced director Lingusamy to 6 months imprisonment.

The court also ordered that the loan received from PVP should be repaid along with interest. In this case, Lingusamy has issued a statement saying that Lingusamy is going to appeal in the Madras High Court. It said, “It is my duty to give a self-explanation to a news about me that is getting hot in many media.

This case is between PVP Capital Limited and our production company Tirupati Brothers Film Media Pvt. Today the honorable court has given judgment on the case filed by them. We are going to file an immediate appeal against the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Court today and face legal challenges.” mentioned.
