Both countries need to step up efforts for an open and independent Indo-Pacific region. Japan will work with India to end the war. Will continue to provide support to Ukraine and its neighbors.

The world today is shaken by many obstacles. The close partnership between India and Japan is a major stumbling block. We expressed our views. We talked about Russia’s serious invasion of Ukraine. We need a peaceful solution based on international law.

5 trillion yen (approximately ₨ 3.20 trillion) will be invested in India.

We will hold the next round of India-Japan talks as soon as possible. We also welcome the agreement on cooperation in cyber security. India is a key ally of Japan. I invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Quad Summit in Tokyo.
