MK Stalin Coimbatore Visit List of AIADMK, BJP How Many workers to Join in DMK Party

Chief Minister M. K. Stalin will tour Coimbatore, Tirupur and Erode districts and provide welfare assistance to more than one lakh people in a program to be held in Kinathukkadavu area.

Coimbatore: DMK has come to power in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections after 10 years. While South Zone was seen as the main reason for DMK’s victory, Kongu Zone was completely left out. DMK did not get much success in Kongu districts like Coimbatore, Tirupur, Namakkal, Dindigul, Salem, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri.

In particular, the DMK lost to the AIADMK alliance in all 10 assembly constituencies in Coimbatore. Similarly, the AIADMK alliance won 5 constituencies in Dharmapuri, 10 out of 11 constituencies in Salem and 5 out of 8 constituencies in Tirupur.

Due to this the DMK leadership decided to make Kongu Mandal a DMK stronghold. After this, Coimbatore decided to fix the internal party problem in DMK.

For this purpose, M.K.Stalin appointed the minister from Karur district, Senthil Balaji, as the person in charge of the Coimbatore area. In the urban local body elections held after this, the DMK alliance won 62 of the 66 seats in the Coimbatore Corporation. DMK has captured seven municipalities including Thondamuthur.

Following this, Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has visited Coimbatore more than 4 times in the last 15 months to control Coimbatore. In this situation, the Chief Minister will fly to Coimbatore this evening on the 24th to provide welfare programs for the people in Echanari area under Kinathugadavu assembly constituency.

The Chief Minister attending the government program provides welfare schemes to one lakh 66 thousand, 641 people. Also, he initiates 761 new projects. It was said that in the evening, in the general meeting to be held in Pollachi, 50,000 people from alternative parties will join the DMK.

It is said that AIADMK and BJP leaders from Coimbatore will join the DMK general meeting in Pollakshi, while many people from alternative parties will join. For the past few weeks, Minister Senthil Balaji has been consulting with alternative party executives.

In this situation, it has now been reported that Maithili Vino, a prominent BJP executive from Coimbatore, will join the DMK. Following this, Coimbatore BJP President Balaji has issued a statement saying that Maithili Vino has been removed from the BJP due to the party acting out of control. Similarly, it has been reported that a prominent executive from AIADMK will join DMK in the presence of Chief Minister Stalin in the DMK general meeting to be held tomorrow.
