Nepal Tara Air Plane Missing Contact with 22 passengers for 1 hour, 4 Indians

Nepal's Tara Air Craft Plane Carring 22 Passengers Loses Contact with 1 Hour

Kathmandu: Twin otter owned by Tara Air, which took off from Pokhara to Jomsom since Sunday morning, went missing.

The plane had three crew members – 13 Nepalis, four Indians and two German passengers. It was piloted by Captain Prabhakar Kimre and left Pokhara at 9:55 am.

According to sources at Tribhuvan International Airport, all communication with the aircraft was cut within minutes of departure.

According to a Tara Air official, the 9N-AET aircraft carrying 19 passengers from Pokhara lost contact at 9:55 am.

Four Indians and three Japanese were on board the missing plane. State media reported that the remaining passengers were Nepalese citizens.
