Received new information

Ola Electric has already indicated to bring an electric car in the Indian market. Now CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has confirmed that the company is indeed working on a sporty electric model on Twitter about the upcoming electric car .

Agarwal in his tweet has shown a photo of the car, which suggests that the upcoming electric car will be a 4-door sedan with a coupe-like roof.

What was the company’s plan?

Earlier in May, it was reported that the company was considering setting up a new plant for its electric cars.

Ola was looking for around 1,000 acres of land to set up the plant, which is almost double the ‘Future Factory’ where the company currently manufactures the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter.

It has been told in media reports that at present, the company will also make this electric car at its plant in Tamil Nadu.

Ola’s current vehicles

Ola currently sells the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in India . There has been a lot of demand for these two wheeler scooters in the country, but its sales have come down in the last few months.

Ola has left this business

Ola started with cab service in India, which proved to be the company’s most successful business. After this Ola tried its hand in many other businesses.

But the company has recently decided to shut down all other businesses except cab service, giving priority to electric vehicles .

These businesses that have been shut down by Ola also include Ola Cars, Ola Dash and Ola Food.
