Madrid: In the Caribbean Sea near Colombia, the ship ‘Sanjos’ sank in 1708 with about 600 people on board. It contained gold worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore. It is considered to be the world’s largest gold sinking ship.
The ship’s location was discovered in 2015 after years of searching. The Spanish government has released a video of two more ships sinking near the San Jose.
In it 2 ships are sunk near the San Jose ship. Gold coins, pottery and ceramic cups are scattered under the sea in blue and green. Also a cannon lies at the bottom of the ocean. Spanish authorities are investigating.
