Who is this Prashant Kishor? his Elections Strategy Wins Everywhere?

Prasant Kishor served as the BJP's political strategist. He also devised strategies for the electoral victory of the United Janata Dal, the Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party, the YSR Congress, the DMK and the Trinamool Congress.

Prashant Kishore will be seen as an election-winning strategist by some Indian political parties. Born on 1976/1977 in the village of Koran in the Rohtas district of Bihar, he spent eight years in the UN office.

He later served as the BJP’s political strategist. He also devised strategies for the electoral victory of the United Janata Dal, the Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party, the YSR Congress, the DMK and the Trinamool Congress.

He first helped Narendra Modi in 2011. Narendra Modi, the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, handed over the tactics of Prashant Kishor as the Chief Minister for the third time in the 2012 Gujarat Assembly elections.

The following year, Branch Kishore started a new company called I-PAC with CAG employees. With that, he devised strategies for the election victory of Nitish Kumar as the Chief Minister of Bihar.

In 2016, Amarinder Singh, then ruling Congress, received the services of Prashant Kishore. Following this, the Congress sought to use his strategic plan for the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. However, the Congress lost the election.

In 2017, Prashant Kishore was appointed as the political advisor to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In the ensuing election, the YSR Congress won 151 of the 175 seats up for grabs, following in the footsteps of Prasanth.

The Aam Aadmi Party used the services of Prasanth Kishor during the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections. Here the Aam Aadmi Party won 62 of the 70 constituencies and retained power.

He then spearheaded his election-winning tactics for Narendra Modi, who ran as the prime ministerial candidate in 2014, under the banner of CAG, a campaign organization for responsible governance.

When the Bihar Assembly elections were held the same year, Prashant Kishore took the position that his support was for no one. At the same time, its leader M.K. Prashant Kishore joined hands with Stalin.

The Trinamool Congress received his service in the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections. Mamata Banerjee retained power with a majority of 213 out of 294 seats.

In Tamil Nadu too, DMK won 159 out of 234 seats M.K Stalin became head of state for the first time.

Amarinder Singh has asked Prashant Kishore, who was the Chief Minister in 2021, to help him win the Punjab Assembly elections in 2022. Amarinder also appointed him to the post of Adviser to the Chief Minister on par with the Cabinet Minister.

But within four months, Prashant Kishore relinquished that responsibility. Within months of his resignation, Amarnath Singh lost his post as Chief Minister of Punjab due to infighting within the Congress.

Prashant Kishore, who has not been much talked about in public since then, has now come to light in the media by meeting Sonia Gandhi. But neither side has yet confirmed whether he will join the Congress party or offer only political advice.
