Apple brings iOS 16 with many new features, see the list of best features

The list of these features extends from personalization to categories like sharing and privacy. Let us know what are the top features included in the new iOS version and how they will work.

Apple recently launched iOS 16 on the first day of the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2022 event. Many new features have been given in the latest mobile operating system version for iPhone users.

The list of these features extends from personalization to categories like sharing and privacy. Let us know what are the top features included in the new iOS version and how they will work.

You will be able to give the look of your choice to the lock screen

The biggest update with iOS 16 is the lockscreen of the iPhone . Now users can set many photos on it as wallpaper gallery. There is also an option to apply fonts and color schemes of your choice on the lockscreen.

Also, with favorite widgets, users will get information about their work on the lockscreen itself. The biggest drawback of Apple devices was the lack of customization features, which the company has done away with.

Option to edit or delete sent messages

iPhone users have been waiting for some features in i-Message for a long time, which they have now got. Users can now edit the message sent, after which the message will be labeled ‘Edited’.

Similarly, after sending, the message can also be deleted from the receiver’s device by tapping on the ‘Undo Send’ button. Also, the feature of marking a thread as unread has also been included in the new update.

From photos to account sharing

Apple has realized that different members of a family have memorable photos, but there isn’t an easy way to see all the photos at once.

This is the reason why Apple has brought iCloud Photo Library for photo sharing, in which up to five members can contain photos.

SharePlay, which gives the option to watch movies or access apps simultaneously, can now be used directly from Messages or FaceTime.

Decide on your safety with Safety Check

If for some reason the user wants to hide access to his information from contacts who were previously trusted contacts, then this can be done.

Users will have the ability to turn off location access with safety checks, reset privacy settings and log out of iCloud accounts from all devices.

Apple believes that sometimes trusted contacts can misuse this data, so users should get full control over their data.

Spam notifications will not bother you

Notifications that appear on the lockscreen will now be collected at the bottom of the screen and will appear full-screen when tapped.

At the same time, Apple has decided to include activity-based notifications in a separate section.

In this way, unnecessary and irritating notifications from time to time will not be visible among other important notifications. Users will be given the option to set and switch personal and professional profiles with focus.

Many intelligent features will be part of the iPhone

While iPhone users could copy or paste text written in a photo until now, this capability has now been extended to the text shown in the video as well.

With the Dictation feature, you have got an easy option of typing by speaking.

At the same time, with the Visual Lookup feature, users can tap on the photo to separate its subject from the background. The option to copy and paste photo edits will also be given in iOS 16.

E-SIM transfer option with the help of Bluetooth

In iPhones launched after the year 2018, users get the option to use e-SIM. E-SIM can be activated by scanning the QR code provided by the telecom service provider, but a new option is being given in iOS 16.

With the help of Bluetooth transfer feature, users will be able to transfer e-SIM from one device to another.

Apart from this, users will be able to see the password of their connected Wi-Fi network in the iPhone.
