How does the Recent Delete feature work?

Contents such as photos, videos, reels deleted from Instagram are immediately erased from the user’s account and moved to the Recently Deleted folder.

Stories deleted by users remain in the Recently Deleted folder for 24 hours, while other content such as photos, videos, reels, etc., remain in it for 30 days.

In these 30 days, users can restore or completely delete the account from the settings of Instagram and then by going to the Recently Deleted folder.

What is the way to restore photos, posts, etc.?

Users, first open your Instagram account, click on the profile photo to go to the profile.

Click on More options at the top right of the device. Next, go to the Settings option and click on the Account option.

In the Recently Deleted folder, click on any content that users want to delete or restore.

Next, click on More options in the top right. Click ‘Restore to Profile’ or ‘Delete it’.
