Partha Chatterjee used my house to stash money, says Arpita

Arpita accused Partha Chatterjee of forcing her to use her house as a stash of illegal deposits.

Kolkata: Partha Chatterjee was the Minister for Commerce, Industry, Information Technology and Electronics in the Mamata Banerjee-led cabinet. He was the State Minister of Higher Education and School Education from 2016 to 2021.

At that time, following the complaint that there was corruption in the appointment of teachers to government schools, the Enforcement Department is investigating the matter.

The enforcement officials raided the houses of several ministers including ministers Partha Chatterjee and Paresh Adhikari and the house of Arpita Mukherjee, who is close to Partha Chatterjee.

Of this, the biggest pile from Arpita Mukherjee’s houses is around Rs. 50 crore cash was seized.

Partha Chatterjee and Arpita Mukherjee were arrested.

During the interrogation of Arpita Mukherjee by the Enforcement Directorate, she has revealed various facts about Partha Chatterjee.

Partha Chatterjee mentioned that whenever she comes to her house, she used to meet some people secretly and on such occasions she would close the door of the room.

Also, Arpita Mukherjee, who has accused her of using her house as a place to hide her illegally earned money, has said that she will not let him see how much money is there.
