One person was killed and 13 others were injured in a powerful explosion on Thursday night (May 12, 20022) in the Sadar region of Karachi, Pakistan.

All those injured in the blast have been transferred to Jinnah Hospital as authorities investigate the cause of the blast. The condition of some of them is worrying.

Pakistan-based local News reports that a state of emergency has been declared in all public hospitals in Karachi.

The condition of four people who were injured in the blast and are being treated at the hospital is said to be critical.

In the wounds of the wounded, iron particles commonly found in explosives and scatterings of milk bearings are found.
