Oklahoma Gunman shooting 4 killed at Tulsa medical building

Four people were killed in a shooting Wednesday evening in a medical building on a hospital campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma, police said.

Police said a gunman killed four people with a gun and pistol in the Tulsa Medical Building on the grounds of the hospital, the latest in deadly mass shootings nationwide in recent weeks.

Francis Health System campus on Wednesday, the same week that families in Wolverhampton, Texas, began burying the dead of the worst school shootings in nearly a decade.

Police said the victim and the gunman were found on the second floor of the medical office, where the orthopedic clinic in Tulsa is located.

Tulsa Deputy Police Chief Eric Tolklish said the shooter, whose name has not been released, died of an apparent gunshot wound.

Officials held a press conference with police and hospital officials on Thursday morning to release more details. All appointments in the orthopedic clinic have been canceled till Friday.
