A new virus has been discovered in the city of Changchun in the northeastern Chinese province of Jilin. The Associated Press said a Lockdown had been imposed across Changchun, China a city of 90 lakh people.
Jilin Province is located in the northeast of China. Its capital, Changchun, is the largest industrial center. It is home to about 90 lakh people. A coronavirus infection was detected in 48 people on Wednesday in the city of Changchun.
The impact was slightly slight on Thursday in the city of Sangson, with 160 people suffering with mild symptoms. 142 people have symptoms. All blood samples have been taken and sent for genetic testing.
According to the Jilin State Health Organization, “Sangson has undergone genetic testing throughout the city of Julen. People living there have been asked to work from home. Bus transport is also banned. We suspect that the omega may be the PA2 type of virus. ”
This week alone, more than 1,000 people have been infected with the corona virus in China since 2020. Only 300 people were affected in the last 3 weeks. As of Friday in China, 1369 people were infected with the corona virus.
Major cities, including Shanghai, have been alerted to the spread of the new virus and are considering re-imposing restrictions on people. It has been ordered to close all schools and colleges in Shanghai. Students are advised to take classes online.
