Islamabad: Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s claim that a plot to assassinate him is being hatched in Pakistan and abroad has caused a stir in Pakistani politics.
Speaking at a recent public meeting in Sialkot, Imran Khan said, “There is a conspiracy going on to take my life. I became fully aware of this conspiracy a few days ago. Conspiracies are being hatched against me here and abroad in closed rooms.
I recorded the video mentioning their names. If anything happens to me, people will know who was behind this conspiracy. ”
Security has been beefed up for Imran Khan. After giving a detailed explanation of Imran Khan’s security to the Home Ministry, Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif directed Home Minister Rana Sanaullah to increase his security.
The Prime Minister’s Office has also instructed provincial governments to increase security for Imran Khan. The report also said that a Chief Security Officer has been provided security for Imran Khan under the guidance of the Prime Minister.
94 policemen and paramilitary personnel are deployed at Imran Khan’s house in the suburbs of Islamabad.
When Imran Khan leaves, he will be accompanied by four police vehicles and 23 policemen, as well as five paramilitary soldiers, an Interior Ministry spokesman said.
Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, was ousted last month by a no-confidence motion.
Imran Khan, who has since rallied and rallied support, has accused the United States of plotting against his government. But the United States and the current Pakistani government have denied the allegations.
