Ottawa: On May 25, an 18-year-old man broke into a primary school in the US state of Texas and opened fire, killing 21 people, including 19 boys.
By the time the commotion subsided, a young man was walking with a gun in his hand near an elementary school in Toronto, Canada.
Following this, 3 primary schools in the area were closed immediately. Police officers immediately rushed to the scene and surrounded the gunman.

Police later shot the man in the head. He was killed on the spot. No further details have been released.
