When the Russian invasion of Ukraine began last February, the US embassy in its capital, Kyiv, was closed.
All embassy officials returned home. It has now been announced that the US Embassy in Kyiv will reopen 3 months later.
The U.S. embassy is set to reopen after Russia suspended its offensive in Kyiv for weeks.
